Rose Cornelious

Reverend Dr. Rose Cornelious (Rose) is an ordained minister who has been in ministry over 30 years. Rev. Cornelious has served churches in Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia.  As the East Coast Mission Facilitator for the Evangelical Covenant Church denomination, Rev. Cornelious ministered in over 100 churches and led mission teams to over twenty-five nations of the world on six continents. Her ministry experience has further been deepened by serving as Chaplain and Chaplain Resident at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh and the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, VA.

Reverend Cornelious is the Development Director at Dorcas Ministries, where she raises money for programs and services to help people in crisis. In her years of ministry, Rev. Cornelious has spearheaded fundraising initiatives that have raised millions of dollars for local and international projects. She is the past President and current board member of the Heart of Cary Association, a board member of the Morrisville Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Morrisville Rotary Club, the Cary High School Business Association and the Cary Area Ministerial Alliance.

Reverend Cornelious holds a B.A in Public Administration (Augustana College, Rock Island, IL), a Master of Science in Business (Florida Institute of Technology, Melbourne, FL), Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry in Preaching degree (North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago).   She and Tony, her husband of 40 years, have four children and four grandchildren.
